Description
PTFE Rods are solid, cylindrical stock shapes engineered from premium Polytetrafluoroethylene. They are characterized by an exceptional combination of properties,including outstanding chemical resistance to almost all industrial chemicals and solvents, a very low coefficient of friction (making them self-lubricating), and excellent electrical insulation properties. They perform reliably in a wide temperature range from -200°C to +260°C (-328°F to +500°F). These rods are primarily used as raw material for machining custom parts such as bearings, bushings, seals, pistons, and insulators in industries like aerospace, chemical processing, food and beverage, and pharmaceuticals.
